Banbury Rally @ Bloxham 2011

As her local rally Sally-Ann has taken her 1910 Stanley 10hp to the show for the last 6 years. This year saw 27 full size steamers and Sally-Ann was joined by Gerry Stoneman who was on route back from a tour of Europe with his 30HP Vanderbilt Racer.

It is a great show with a wide range of both steam and non steam exhibits. Again this year saw a very hot weekend and it was not the weather to be hugging a steam engine - however sitting in a Stanley with the wind in your hair was lovely!!
