Stanley Vanderbilt Cup Racer
  POA

The
Stanley Vanderbilt Cup Car was originally built and finished in December 1905 by the Stanley Motor Carriage Company for the Vanderbilt cup race 1906.

Since the beginning of the 1990s to 2007 this replica was built by an American - based on the original one. In 2007 it was sold to its current German owner.

In 2008 the engine was replaced by J. R. Goold http://www.stanleysteamcarparts.co.uk/ Vintage Steam Restorations Ltd. Now it has a 30hp engine and the longer rear axle like the original car.

For Safety reasons the brakes were converted into modern, especially manufactured disk brakes.

In 2010 the car got a new boiler and the spokes were replaced by stronger ones. The tyres on the rear wheels were also renewed in 2010 (Dunlop).

Hundreds of hours were spent by the well known german vintage car restoration companiesVan BeersandVeteranenhofto get it well running.

After the completion the car was used at several veteran car events with great success, for example at theGerman Steam Car Tourorganized by the Automuseum Melle or the legendaryOldtimer Grand Prixon the Nürburgring.

In its present, superb condition it did 127.6 km/h on the Nürburgring at 3/4 throttle!!!

The car fascinates with its incredible acceleration and an extra ordinary sound!!!

On the photos below you see the car in its present Concours condition.
You should also have a look at the youtube video to see it in action!

Stanley 60- 1910   POA

I have a 1910 Model 60 that I have had for a number of years.
It is a "barn find" car that has never been restored. It is
not running, but would be an easy car to get going if one wanted to drive it some before doing a cosmetic restoration. I have a new Bourdon boiler for the car. The burner is a nice original Stanley slotted burner.
This car has a pilot tank that was installed years ago, probably when they became available from the factory for retrofitting to earlier model cars. It is only the 2nd one I have seen with the feed tube exiting from the end of the tank. It is mounted on the drivers side.
The windshield board sitting on the cowl is new to replace the original which is broken. The original brass windshield is in nice condition. The copper engine wrapper is in excellent condition.

1903 Stanley Stick Seat Runabout   $72,000 OBO

The 1903 is an excellent restoration of an original car, serial no. 513.

The restoration included a new Bourdon boiler. It has the original bucket type water level indicator still in place and it works fine. There is a modern level gage also, mounted under the seat in front of the boiler.\

I know this car has not been on the London to Brighton, but
would be a good car for that event. It is a nice running Stanley.
