technical

The National Steam Car Association has formed a technical committee whose role it is to oversee all things technical!! It is a daunting task.

This group are charged with a variety of tasks all of which we hope will serve the membership and the longevity of our hobby.
As a member you can ask them anything!
Technical Committee

Here to Help

One of the main aims of the technical committee is that they are here to help. No member should feel that they are alone in trying to tackle any issue, all you have to do is ask.

Through a regular feature in our magazine Steam Car World, the technical committee will be answering your questions and queries. However if there is something more urgent or serious please feel free to contact the technical officer directly.

Can you help?

If you feel that you could help the technical committee with their work, please do not be shy coming forward.

We are all very aware that all steam cars are different and therefore the more heads looking at a problem then the more likely we are going to find an answer.

If you would like to get involved then please contact the Technical Officer.

The NSCA are currently developing a series of specimen 'Written Schemes of Examination' to assist members who may be about to employ an inspector who is not able to offer such a scheme. You can download a specimen scheme for 'Water and Fire Tube Boilers' by clicking HERE.
