Dave Granger's Lykomobile

Like many owners Dave has brilliantly made his own adjustments to his Lykomobile.

Dave decided that he didn't like the tiller steer so has modified the car to have a round steering wheel.

Also he has made a nifty back axle stand which quickly and efficiently jacks up the back wheels for running the engine when static. In addition you can see a chain park bracket to the left of the chain drive which can be used if you need the tow the car any distance.

Seen here at a recent social gathering this was the first time this car had done some serious 'grass trials' and Dave was soon learning that she behaves completely differently on the turf than on the open road.

The car drew much interest as the only steam car of the day.
